Titan triggerfish, Red Sea. The Titan triggerfish (Balistoides viridescens) is a common sight across all reefs of the Red Sea and Indo-Pacific from Africa to Polynesia. It feeds on molluscs and shellfish which it can be seen blowing puffs of water into the reef to expose them, it also feeds on sea urchins which again it blows over with puffs of water from its mouth and then bites with its powerful teeth into the underside This is a large fish and can be aggressive at times.
