TERMS & CONDITIONS

COPYRIGHT. All maps and drawings completed under contract are originals and become the sole property of the client, except that all materials used for exhibitions, websites, printed brochures, sales of individual copies whether digital or printed to whomsoever or magazine and newspaper articles should always carry the following:- Drawing /mapping by Oceanic Research & Publishing Ltd.

Oceanic Research & Publishing will in all cases retain the right to obtain and use copies of such work for marketing and
advertising purposes.

EXCEPT THAT: Any mapping, research or drawing work completed for a client at reduced, discounted or free of charges,
originals will remain the soleproperty and full copyright of Oceanic Research & Publishing Ltd. Clients will obtain digital copies for their own use, these for educational or commercial displays only. Should the client require the use of such products for any other purpose, including but not limited to: display on internet sites, printed brochures, print ordigital copies for sales to customers or sales for use by third parties, then the client may be offered two options.

A)To obtain full use of all drawings or mapping, whereby the materials would become the sole property of the client.
In this case the client would be charged the percentage difference between the full price quoted and the discounted price paid.

B)The client may alternatively enter into a copyright sales agreement for a particular usage. IE: usage on internet. In this case
a fee of 50% of the fee chargeable for ready made products/photography will be charged.

PHOTOGRAPHY: Oceanic Research & Publishing Ltd, does not normally complete specific photographic work for clients, other than for special requests or reasons. Photography completed whilst completing reef mapping or dive site drawing contracts or otherwise, WILL IN ALL CASES REMAIN THE COPYRIGHT of Oceanic Research & Publishing Ltd.
Oceanic Research & Publishing, will retain the originals and the right to use, market or sell such photos for any purpose
the company deems appropriate. HOWEVER, requests for copies of photographs completed whilst under contract shall be
supplied to the client in such a form as requested, ( prints or digital images ) these at 50% of normal stock prices, and for pre-agreed terms of use and limitations.
Photographs used shall always be labeled or marketed as © Oceanic Research & Publishing Ltd.
All other photographs obtained from stock photography will be subject to standard sales prices and agreements.

CONTRACTS FOR DIVE SITE DRAWINGS, MAPPING & PHOTOGRAPHY
In order to avoid clients forfeiting working days due to adverse weather conditions, Oceanic Research & Publishing Ltd attempts to cover certain areas of the world at pre-determined seasons during the year, in order to take advantage of optimum meteorological conditions. We strongly recommend that clients discuss their requirements and make reservations with us well in advance.
